Popular actor Ekow Smith Asante Ghana is sporting a new look and he said he did it for the veteran filmmaker, Kwaw Ansah. The actor usually has a low cut hairstyle.

But now he has long hair style with a slightly distended abdomen, which many are made to believe is a sign of good living. Last Saturday, Ekow appeared on Mall Accra when he joined West Coast Entertainment management to reveal the prize for the company’s first ever Miss Ghallywood procession.

He told-ONE NEWS seen his latest is “for the purpose”. “I have been on the set of Kwaw Ansah and I needed to make my hair like this to make up for the movie setting,” he added. “I did not grow this style because I want to look like this,” he said.

Ekow is one of the best actors in Ghana. He was known for his lead role in a number of local film and Ghana is one of the actors Ghana early to make it a Nollywood Nigeria, Africa’s biggest film industry.
